Commercial Cleaners: To clean floor tile grout, you can use any of the industrial cleaning Services that are available in the market. These products are specially formulated to clean up tile grout effectively. It is advisable that you select one such cleanser which has a balanced pH value as such products do not cause any harm to the grout material. Before using them, read the instructions provided by the manufacture and use it accordingly. After use, wash off the floor thoroughly to ensure that the residues of the cleaners are not left behind. boiling Soda: Some people do not want to use any harsh chemicals for kitchen cleaning. They can safely use baking soda for kitchen floor grout cleaning. Take enough baking powder that can cover up the entire floor. Add some water to prepare a thick consistent paste. Dab this paste on the grout surface with the help of a soft toothbrush. Let it sit over the dirty grout for around 15 minutes. Then scrub the area with a stiff nylon brush. Finally, wipe off the dirt residues with a clean and wet rag. White Vinegar: This is highly effective for clearing up mild stains on tile grout. Dilute white vinegar with equal amount of water. Put this liquid solution in a spray bottle and apply it on the stained grout. Take a stiff brush and rub it over the grout in circular motions so that the debris from the grout are released. Remember, a circular motion is more effective for dirt removal from grout than straight movements of the brush. Finally, wash off with clean water and mop up the excess water from grout surface. Hydrogen Peroxide: On a more stubborn grout stains, hydrogen peroxide is more suitable. Prepare a solution mixing water and hydrogen peroxide and pour it in a spray bottle. Spread it on the grout and let it get soaked into the tile grout properly for the next 15-20 minutes. Then scrub the area with an old toothbrush and wash with water. For your convenience, you can divide the floor into small sections and work on one particular section at a time. Bleach: This is an excellent option for cleaning bathroom grout where there is mold and mildew growth. There are two forms of bleach that are used for this purpose. One is the chlorine bleach which is good for white grout. For colored grout, you must used a milder form of bleach which is oxygen based bleach. Dilute one-fourth cup of bleach with 2 quarts of water and pour this solution over the floor tile grout. Keep it untouched for several hours. If there is excessive mildew growth, you can keep it overnight. Next morning clean up the floor with plain water. When you are working with bleach in bathroom, keep the space well ventilated but close the bathroom door. You should also protect yourself with protective clothing and mask.
